Nepheline syenite is very high in total flux (alkalis) content, high alumina, with no free silica. It is especially suitable for the production of container and float glass. It provides greater flux action, lower temperature, long sintering range, with greater stability to minimise deformation. With its unique eutectic for lower maturing temperature during glass forming, it is best for energy saving, with increasing productivity due to shorter firing cycle.
