Nepheline Syenite is a naturally occurring, crystalline silica deficient sodium-potassium alumina silicate. The melting eutectic and fluxing power make body compositions that mature at low temperatures possible. This mineral also contributes to high green strength in bodies, low deformation during firing and will increase the rate of vitrification over a wider firing range, ensuring a smooth glazed surface even at lower temperatures and enhancing transparency and brightness.
